Staten Island has a wide variety of locations at which location scouts for movies and television have kept tucked in their pocked as a New York City for some time now. We’ve seen television shows like Gotham and Girls shoot on our shores, as well as feature films like Staten Island Summer. Recently, the office of Borough President James Oddo launched a SmugMug website to show off photos that showcase the range of possibilities for Staten Island’s starring role in the next big thing.

Catch of the Day, a new film by Fuzz on the Lens production recently wrapped production. As seen in the trailer below, a portion of the film was shot at Amendment 18 Bar and Grill. (formerly Dock Street) Space, which is the cellar of the historic Edgewater Hall, has also welcomed film productions like Mike Birbiglia’s Sleepwalk With Me, television shows like Mob Wives, and music videos like Method Man’s “The Meth Lab”
