St. George Staten Island has recently been voted the best neighborhood in NYC by Curbed NY,  the largest New York City neighborhoods and real estate blog available online.  Staten Island residents have been getting really excited and take pride in this appreciation. Lead by the owners of Honor Wines, they have organized a celebration that will take place on Sunday, Jan. 19 from 3pm to 7 p.m. The festivities will take place at Staten Island MakerSpace, 450 Front St. in Stapleton.

Neighboring St. George and very close to where the festivities will be held is one of Stapleton’s oldest buildings the victorian  Edgewater Hall.  With its vibrant historic background and landmark status, Edgewater Hall is an exclusive location for catering, bar & restaurant clients throughout New York City and the TriState area. Today Ettore Mazzei stands as the owner of the Edgewater Hall located at 691 and 695 Bay St. The Stapleton has always been known for its large community festivities and traditions continue to live on. Renting out all three floors of the hall,  several of different types of parties and event are held there.  It is also home to his catering company Chez Vous Caterers that he began in the basement of his home.

Edgewater Hall has also provided an amazing space for filming movies, music videos as well as stage platform for performances.
