Staten Island has a wide variety of locations at which location scouts for movies and television have kept tucked in their pocked as a New York City for some time now. We’ve seen television shows like Gotham and Girls shoot on our shores, as well as feature films like Staten Island Summer. Recently, the office of Borough President James Oddo launched a SmugMug website to show off photos that showcase the range of possibilities for Staten Island’s starring role in the next big thing.

The Borough President’s staff is available to assist not only production companies and location scouts, but Staten Islanders to facilitate positive filmings in our borough.
